The tour has as its theme Michelangelo “the man and artist”: the tour begins with a visit to two museums that hold some of the great artist’s most famous works: the Academy Gallery and the Medici Chapels. His unbound talent will be unveiled to us in his most majestic piece David and the other works inside the museum.

Next we will learn about Michelangelo, the architect, and his design of the Sagrestia Nuova and the marvellous sculptures inside the Museum of the Medici Chapel, mausoleum of the Medici and Hapsburg-Lorraine Grand Dukes.

  In summer, in the Synagogues and in all the churches, it is obligatory to wear clothes that respect the venue, and therefore covered shoulders, skirts and dresses that fall below the knee, and long trousers are a must.

  Additional apparel may be found inside (free inside the Synagogues and at a cost inside the churches).
